Car / Taxi

From Sydney CBD

Follow signs to the Harbour Bridge (no toll is required driving north). Take the Warringah Freeway and continue for several kilometres to the Brooke Street exit and turn left. Follow the road around to the right into Chandos Street. Turn left at the 2nd roundabout on to Christie St, then right on to Pacific Highway. Turn left into the driveway just before the 4th set of traffic lights opposite Westbourne St, a block and a bit up from Greenwich Rd.

South from F3 Exit

Take the Sydney/Hornsby exit onto the Pacific Highway South. Drive for 15kms. Drive past the Longueville Road/Gore Hill turn off and watch for a TAFE on your left and note Westbourne St (which is the turn off for the Royal North Shore Hospital). Hotel St Leonards is opposite Westbourne Street. Continue South on the Highway, turn right at Greenwich Road (the next lights), do a U-Turn then turn left back on to the Highway and drive back the way you came for a little over a block and turn left in to Driveway. Parking is at the back of the hotel.

Using a GPS

Please use 196 Pacific Highway as our street address and Greenwich as the suburb to prevent street number confusion with some of the GPS models.

Taxi

Depending on the time of day and traffic conditions, a taxi from Sydney airport will cost around $70. Let the driver know that Hotel St Leonards located on the Pacific Hwy opposite the Royal North Shore Hospital in St Leonards.

Train

Take the train to St Leonards station, exit straight through the Forum to the Pacific Highway, turn right and take an easy walk up a slight hill for around 10 minutes. Hotel St Leonards is opposite Royal North Shore Hospital.

Opal Cards

Sydney Transport is accessed via smartcard tickets (called Opal cards) that you keep, reload and reuse to pay for travel on the greater Sydney public transport system (buses, trains, ferries, light rail) across the greater Sydney. They are readily available from newsagents and many convenience shops.

Hotel St Leonards strongly recommend that a reloadable Opal Card is obtained for the most economical and easiest usage of the public transport system. They are available online and via many newsagents, convenience stores and more.
